Welcome to the Interpersonal Lab at the University of British Columbia. Our research focuses on a number of topics related to anxiety and depression. The goal in our current research is to gain a better understanding of the problems and processes associated with several anxiety disorders, including social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. We are also interested in research that will lead to the ongoing development of psychological treatments for anxiety disorders.
We are currently working on a treatment outcome study with members of the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at UBC Hospital. The goal of the study is to assess the effectiveness of psychological treatment for generalized social anxiety disorder.
